Camping
Idyll and pure nature
Here at the Rühler Schweiz campsite, located directly on the Weser, 3 km south of Bodenwerder, it is beautiful. It is no coincidence that the Weserbergland, and especially our Weserbogen, is one of the most beautiful spots in Lower Saxony. The Vogler Nature Park begins behind the campsite, inviting you to go on extended hiking, walking or mountain biking tours on quiet forest paths.
Our Weser meadow
Whether you’re camping in your own tent, caravan or motorhome or just passing through on a stopover – you’ve always come to the right place. We offer you a well-kept grass campsite with spacious, non-parceled pitches for wonderfully relaxed, informal days out. To ensure that everyone feels completely at ease, our campsite offers a power supply for every pitch, water connections are located at regular intervals on the Weser meadow and there is hot and cold water in the three centrally located sanitary facilities. Grey water and black water can be emptied at our disposal station.

The KulturMühle Buchhagen monument is no longer a dusty, dilapidated, forgotten ruin: quite the opposite! In summer 2008, after six years of restoration work, the listed building was opened as KulturMühle Buchhagen (cultural center and open house). Since then, cultural events, concerts, exhibitions, courses and workshops have been held here regularly. The MühlenCafé serves home-baked cakes and hot drinks every Sunday from 2 pm to 6 pm. The KulturMühle Buchhagen is run by the association Kaleidoskop e.V., which aims to enrich the Weserbergland region with a diverse cultural program.
