Campground rules
Status: March 2025
Welcome to Camping Rühler Schweiz (CRS)! To make your vacation as pleasant as possible, we ask you to observe the following rules during your stay:
By entering the premises, guests and visitors accept the GTCs and the house and Campground rules and undertake to comply with them.
Registration
Before entering the premises, every person (guests, fellow travelers, visitors) – without exception – must be properly registered at the reception and have paid the personal fee in accordance with the valid price list. The registration requirement also applies to dogs and vehicles. If you have already specified all accompanying persons, pets and vehicles when making your booking and have received the corresponding booking documents by post, it is no longer necessary to register in person at the reception
.
The guest (CRS contract partner) is responsible for the proper registration of their visit. He is liable for his relatives, fellow travelers and visitors and must be present during their visit without exception. Subletting is not permitted. Young people under the age of 18 may not stay at the CRS without an adult supervisor. The admission of persons may be refused if this appears necessary to maintain order and compliance with the Campground rules. Persons staying on the site without prior notification will be expelled from the site and charged 10 times the site fee.
Occupancy
Only a maximum of 6 people can be booked per camping pitch and only one camping object, i.e. caravan, motorhome or family tent, is permitted per pitch – an exception applies for your own children. Additional tents for visitors are not permitted. Motorhomes and caravans must have a valid gas test certificate. The number of persons is limited to the maximum permitted occupancy for rental properties. The erection of camping objects and pavilions at the rental property
is not permitted.
Drones/cameras/film and photo work
– Drones: It is prohibited to use so-called “drones” (unmanned aerial systems and model aircraft with or without camera technology) on and above the CRS.
– Video surveillance: The CRS site is monitored by video cameras in critical areas. GDPR-compliant signs indicate the relevant areas. This is done on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR (prevention of theft, vandalism and criminal offenses, exercise of domiciliary rights). The recordings are only evaluated if necessary and only the required data is stored until clarification. Data will not be passed on to third parties outside of the purpose limitation. The deletion of the data is automated in accordance with. Art. 17 para. 1 lit. a GDPR in conjunction with Art. 5 para. 1 lit. c and e GDPR after 48 hours. The recording device must be protected by appropriate measures in accordance with Art. Art. 32 GDPR from access by unauthorized persons.
– Film and photo work by CRS: We regularly carry out video and audio recordings at the CRS. If you do not wish to be recorded, please inform the photographer or camera team immediately.
Guest mail
– Letters & newspapers/magazines: During your stay at the CRS, you have the opportunity to receive letter deliveries and letter-like items. These are collected at a central location (reception) and made available for personal collection. Here you can take your own responsibility – in compliance with postal secrecy – to collect your mail from the inboxes provided. No guarantee can be given for receipt.
– Parcels & packages: CRS does not accept parcels and packages from or for guests. You can have your parcels delivered to the nearest packing station. Only in absolute emergencies (e.g. when sending medication/medical equipment) and by prior arrangement will we accept parcels at our campsite for you!
Guest service
In addition to monitoring the technical facilities and the normal services, the tasks of guest services also include ensuring peace, order and cleanliness. Work on guest property is not included in the service.
Crickets
Barbecuing is permitted on your own plot or on the terrace of the rental property. The barbecue must stand on legs. Fire bowls and fire baskets are permitted up to forest fire level 3. Please observe the respective forest fire warning level and always have something ready to extinguish the fire. Special metal ash garbage cans are available at the recycling stations for cooled charcoal.
Trade
Commercial sales and trade transactions as well as sales of mobile homes and caravans on the CRS site require authorization from the administration. In all cases, a commission must be paid to the administration.
Domestic authority
CRS and its employees as well as authorized third parties (security) are authorized to exercise domiciliary rights. The instructions of CRS employees must be followed. Anyone who commits a criminal offense, grossly violates the house rules or violates the rest periods despite being warned will be expelled from the premises immediately. In this case, there is an obligation to pay for the entire booked or agreed stay; amounts already paid will not be refunded.
Pets
Pets are welcome, but must be registered at reception and have valid vaccinations and protection against ticks, fleas, lice etc. and be able to provide proof of this on request
.
– All pets: The owner must fulfill their duty of supervision and ensure that other guests are not inconvenienced. Pets may only be kept on a lead, carried in the arms or transported in a carrier on the CRS site. Pets are not permitted anywhere on the banks of the Weser, in the river, on the playgrounds, in the wash houses and in most of the rental accommodation! On your pitch/at your rental property approved for pets, pets must be kept in the accommodation or in a cage or stable suitable for the pet or kept on a lead so that they remain at least one meter away from the pitch boundary. Free-roaming pets are not permitted.
– Dogs: Bookings with dogs are only permitted in the designated areas. However, you may also stay for short periods in areas not designated for dogs. In the rental accommodation, dogs are only permitted in the properties explicitly approved for this purpose. Dogs must be kept on a lead! This applies both on the campsite and in the fields and forests (Field and Forest Act), as some areas are also hunting grounds. Please note in particular that dogs must be kept on a lead from April 1 to July 15 (general breeding and rearing season). Dogs must be taken to places outside the communal area to do their business. Poop must be picked up and disposed of properly without exception! We will provide you with dog waste bags and waste garbage cans free of charge at several locations. If the dog is misbehaving, CRS can expel the animal from the site.
Defects and deficiencies/liability
Use of the site – in particular the children’s playground and the swimming pool – is at your own risk. The campsite and its facilities must be treated with care; willful destruction will result in a ban from the site and can be reported to the police. Important: Damage to objects and facilities on CRS property and existing sources of danger must be reported immediately to reception so that they can be rectified as quickly as possible. CRS is not liable for damage caused by third parties. We recommend that you take out appropriate insurance to protect your property.
Garbage and waste disposal
The waste must be properly separated and disposed of accordingly at the recycling stations. Charcoal may only be disposed of in the separate metal ash garbage cans when it has cooled down! Bulky waste can be handed in at the bicycle rental for a fee. Hazardous waste, construction site waste, car and machine parts can only be disposed of outside the CRS, e.g. at the Bodenwerder recycling collection point. The interim shrub storage area at the entrance next to the transformer station is exclusively for leaves, shrub and lawn cuttings and similar garden waste. Bags filled with garden waste must be emptied and the bags disposed of with the residual waste. Other waste (building rubble, timber, garbage and similar) is prohibited there.
Nature conservation
– On the CRS: Car washing is prohibited on the entire site. This also applies to the disposal/dump stations. The drinking water points are not intended for cleaning bicycles and Kettcars. Fishing and landing nets are prohibited in the Weser and the biotopes! Our swimming pool is cleaned biologically by a filter system. Please help to keep the nutrient input into the water as low as possible and thus ensure a high water quality: shower before swimming, use the toilets. Please also take care of the awning lawns! If possible, do not cover them at all, but at most with air- and light-permeable awning carpeting (such as Aerotex); plastic sheeting and other impermeable materials are not permitted!
– Surroundings of the CRS: Smoking and lighting fires, dumping garbage and destroying plants as well as walking on fields and forests off the paths is strictly prohibited in the forest, moorland and heathland (excerpt from the Forest and Forestry Act – NWaldLG)!
Smoking
Smoking is prohibited in all buildings including our wash houses, rental properties, etc.
Rest periods
Lunch break 13:00-15:00
Night rest (barriers closed!) 22:00-07:00
Music players, televisions and similar devices may only be used in such a way that they do not disturb other guests. Disturbing noises must be avoided during quiet hours. During quiet hours, all avoidable noises are considered a disturbance of the peace and a gross violation of the house rules. Exceptions to the quiet periods are necessary site work and occasional CRS events.
Swimming
Swim at your own risk. Use of the swimming pool is included for CRS guests; visitors and day guests must register at reception and pay the applicable entrance fee. Children who cannot swim should always be accompanied by an adult and should not swim or stay near the pool unsupervised.
Traffic & Parking
Always keep entrances clear! If you arrive before 15:00, please use the large parking lot in front of the barrier (meadow) to wait! The StVO applies throughout the campsite. The maximum permitted speed for all types of vehicles is 5 km/h – including bicycles, e-scooters, go-karts and all types of fun sports equipment! Please also look out for your children! Vehicles that are parked in an obstructive or dangerous manner will first receive a notice from CRS; if this happens again, the vehicles will be towed away for a fee. This applies in particular to the bus parking area, in the entrance area and in front of the barriers.
– Motorized vehicles (including motorcycles, mopeds, etc.): “Rides” across the grounds and driving without a valid driving license are not permitted, the StVO applies. Cars may only be parked on your own plot, on the parking space belonging to the rental property or on a booked rental parking space, but not on the paths, neighboring spaces, third-party rental parking spaces or grass verges. The parking space must either be selected at the time of booking so that it is large enough to accommodate all the vehicles brought along, or a separate rental parking space must be booked. Visitors may only park their vehicle on the campsite if this has been registered at reception and an appropriate parking space is available. If there is no space available, vehicles can be parked for a maximum of 12 hours (during the day until 22:00) in the large parking lot opposite the reception; overnight parking is not permitted in the large parking lot.
– Bicycles/kettcars: Bicycles, kettcars, street scooters and similar vehicles that are not parked in/near bicycle racks, are parked in the entrance area or block escape routes will be confiscated, removed or relocated. For rented bicycles and Kettcars, we expressly refer to the rental conditions that the guest signed when renting,
and ask for compliance with the rules.
Wash houses/sanitary buildings
The wash houses (personal washrooms = showers, toilets, hairdressing rooms, rented bathrooms) are used exclusively for the personal hygiene of our guests. Showering with hot water is possible daily between 06:00 and 23:00. All users are obliged to leave the facilities they use in a clean condition. Washrooms and toilets are not playgrounds – children under the age of 7 may only enter if accompanied by an adult. Coarse dirt/mud must be rinsed off at the water points outside before entering the washrooms. Pets are strictly prohibited in all personal washrooms and smoking is prohibited in the entire sanitary building. It is strictly forbidden to clean any objects in the washrooms!
– Function rooms: launderette, dishwashing rooms, “bucket toilet” and dog showers. Special function rooms are available for cleaning your laundry, dishes, toilet cassettes and for showering your pet – it is forbidden to carry out these and similar tasks in the regular staff washrooms! Any other use is prohibited. Laundry (launderette): Here you will find washing machines and dryers. Please note: The washing machines are out of order from 23:00 to 06:00. Please check your laundry regularly – even before the calculated time has expired – so that you can add money if the washing time is extended, but also to avoid long waiting times for other guests.
WLAN access/use of external WLAN repeaters and antenna technology
Free WLAN is available to you at the CRS via several hotspots. The use of WLAN repeaters and antenna technology is permitted under certain conditions, see the CRS General Terms and Conditions (GTC). If these rules are not adhered to, we reserve the right to remove guest devices from the Wi-Fi network and block them.
